Marty Casanova The Search for a Cure Continues! (by Kent Powell) What can we say about Marty Casanova that wouldn't get you dirty looks if you said it in church?   Born in a New Orleans strip joint where his father had stopped "to ask directions,"  Marty grew up in a part of the state romantically called "the bayou," but which is really the swamp.  All through his boyhood, young Martin dreamed of escape to a promised land of which he'd heard stories and seen television shows:  Texas.  When he completed High School (via the equivalency exam) at the tender age of twenty-eight, he applied for a trade school in Texas where he studies interior design and fish-cleaning.  He expects to graduate in the Fall of '98. Fortunately, he has his guitar-playing to fall back on.  As lead guitarist for Ben Strange, Marty has proven that the inability to sustain a cohesive thought pattern can be a positive asset in the field of music.  His musical influences include Randy Rhodes, Eddie Van Halen, and the sounds made by CB's and short wave radios when you're trying to find the right frequency.
